On Friday 14^th February, a romantic trekking for all the lovers, in the magic location of Parco Nazionale delle Foreste Casentinesi, Monte Falterona and Campigna.

Programma

S.Valentine's Day is special for all the couples. If you want to make it even more romantic, spend this day at Parco Nazionale delle Foreste Casentinesi.

With snowshoes, we will go through the snowy woods, following the paths left by the wild animals until the cliff, in the most suggestive points of the Park, where the twilight will light up the path. We will descend through the forest, lighten up only by the light of the torches, alternating tracks and unexplored paths.

During the trekking we will see the flora of this part of Parco Nazionale (and how/why is so diverse in the range of a few hundreds of meters) and, by following the animal footprints left in the snow, we will discover the fauna which lives in these woods during winter.
In the end, this is a valid alternative to the usual S.Valentine's day celebration.
Everything will be done following the security rules, led by a professional Trekking Guide.

Time: 2,5 – 3 hours

Equipment needed:
Waterproof trekking shoes
Waterproof jacket
Sweater
Gloves, beret and scarf
Sunglasses
Protective cream for face and lips
A complete dry change (to leave inside the car)
Hot beverages and some snacks in case you're hungry!
