The church rises in Piazza del Duomo. It is reachable by car and by bus.

Analytical text

This architectonic construction was built at the end of the XVIII century on the ruins of previous religious buildings.
The church was built in Neoclassical style on a project by Carlo Santini in 1786.
The church is small and its inside is rectangular. It is characterised by columns and ionic pilasters. The wall against which rises the main altar devides the church from the choir, which is reserved to the nouns. Next to the entrance, in the little Chapel on the right side, you can see a painting portraying S. Ignatius by Gaetano Gandolfi. On the main marble altar there are same paintings by Domenico Pedrini from Bologna portraying Jesus Christ and the Angels. On the left altar there is a beautiful XVI century German statue "the Holy mother of Germany".
