S. Antonio square is the main square of the village. It is the symbol of Predappio Nuova (founded and constructed between 1925 and 1942).
The changes Florestano di Fausto made on the original project had been drawn up by Forlì U.T.of G.C. from 1926 to 1942. The square became the political and administrative centre of the village. Palazzo Varano rose on this square and soon the village took the features it still has. The new centre of Predappio was no more Mussolini's native house, but the square facing Palazzo Varano that is Piazza S. Antonio.

The square rises along the road that crosses Predappio towards Premilcuore.
