Palazzo Paulucci Di Calboli Dall'Aste

The palace stands on the foundations of two or more pre-existing buildings. The imposing façade with baroque-style lateral chamfered edges and three rows of windows decorated with stone corbels make it a fine example of 18th century architecture. It underwent restoration work in 1850-1870, when the Paulucci family bought the palace.
Worth noticing are the later interventions of 1920s, such as the room on the ground floor decorated by Maceo Casadei or the library room featuring episodes of the family history made in 1928 by Gino Ravaioli from Rimini. An imposing wrought-iron gate separates the main entrance hall from the inner courtyard.
The palace was the home of Fulcieri Paulucci de’ Calboli, a hero of the First World War who was awarded a gold medal.
