Traverse Meldola, cross the bridge, then turn right and follow the road indications towards Teodorano.

Analytical text

The castle rises in Teodorano village. It was an independent Commune until 1925. The castle was already famous during the XI century. It was contested because of its strategic location. In 1502 it was conquered by Cesare Borgia after a hard battle. Cesare Borgia knocked down the defence wall of the castle. Nowadays it is possible to visit the tower and part of the defence wall of the castle; it was restored 10 years ago.
