All the Tuscan-Romagna slopes are particularly suited for adventurous high walks with snowshoes leaving your footprints on the blanket of snow. All the hills around Forlì stretching from Calla Pass up to 1500-metre-high Mount Falco, from Peschiera Pass to Valbura, from Muraglione Pass to Mount Busca. The Park of the Casentinesi Forests, Mount Falterona and Campigna, that includes in Romagna’s region also part of the territories of Santa Sofia (upper Bidente Valley), Portico and San Benedetto in Alpe (upper Montone Valley), Premilcuore (Rabbi Valley) and Tredozio (Tramazzo Valley), provides even in winter with the opportunity to discover the territory laden in snow, whether be it on snowshoes or by gliding across the snow on cross-country skis, along a network of paths and forest trails. In the Upper Bidente Valley, the Campigna forest (1068-1500 mt. above sea level), sung by the poet Dino Campana in his Orphic Songs, offers sky enthusiasts the opportunity to practise cross-country, nordic and down-hill skiin.
