On Sunday 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th of May, the awaited appointment with Open Farms comes back: all the curious and the nature's lovers can try for a day the life in the countryside and know the places and the local products.

The event Open Farms is proposed every year to the inhabitants of Emilia-Romagna with the open days of the agricultural holdings for some Sundays. It is a part of a permanent educational project and it is an useful opportunity to move closer the farm world to the city, with the aim of winning an important challenge: passing on the knowledge and the flavours that characterize an agricultural and food heritage featured by a renowned healthiness, tradition and culture.

As always it will be possible to visit the farms, to buy the products directly from the hands of the producers, to participate to the recreational and didactic activities. The most interesting sides will be the discover of the typical and seasonal products and the opportunity to know closely the farm work.

Almost 20 farms in the province of Forlì-Cesena apply to Open Farms and purpose itineraries suitable for people of any age, to explore the origins of the food and the Dop and Igp products in the country.
