During the opening of the Fortress, from March 7 to December, 2020
Orario:
Saturday 3.00pm-7.00pm. Sunday 10.00am-1.00pm and 3.00pm-7.00pm.
In June, July and August the fortress and museum are open from 4.00pm in the afternoon.
Groups (min. 20 people) can book visits also on different days and at different times, even at night.
From March 2020, guided tours of the Fortress of Castrocaro and its Historical Museum: culture, tourism and promotion of the territory!
Programma
Guided tours to the Fortress and the historical-archaeological Museum MuSA in Castrocaro Terme.
The visit includes:
- the courtyard with the 17th-century olive tree;
- the troglodyte caves;
- the Tower of dungeons and torture;
- the 13th-century Church of St. Barbara;
- the Castellan’s Palace which houses the historical-archaeological museum of the castle and of the town (MuSA) (weapons, majolica, furniture, furnishings and ancient paintings);
- The Eagle, the Keys and the Lily, a permanent exhibition of documents and archaeological findings documenting and telling the thousand-year old history of the Fortress of Castrocaro.
- Enoteca della Strada dei Vini e dei Sapori of the Province of Forlì-Cesena, for the promotion and enhancement of typical products of the territory.
